Solid covers are designed to keep the rain off the patio as

from the most basic design to the most extravagant. The
material comes in several colors and can be upgraded with

Aluminum patio covers did not exist, as we know them today until John Kain, designed and built the 1st continuous rolled roof (Sun Boss History). Sun Boss was the pioneer in the entire patio industry by creating a roof system that did not require any joist or center posts, in most applications. The 6" flat pan roof system, which was designed and built by Sun Boss first in 1965, is still the most popular of all styles. When combined with the Imperial post and beam system, it fools many into thinking it is a wood product. It is actually an all-aluminum system that boasts a wood grain embossed finish that is painted with enamel and then baked. The baked enamel finish is guaranteed against chipping, peeling, cracking or rusting for a period of up to 20 years. However, we have installed products that have lasted 50 years and have never been painted and look just like they did when they were new. There are several styles of panels available aside from the 6" Flat Pan there is an 8" Flat Pan, and the "W" & "V" panels. The W and V panels are a little more cost effective and still carry exceptional warranties. Sun Boss also installs 3" insulated roofs, which can be enclosed at a later date or engineered to hold the weight of tile roofs. All covers come with built in guttering systems that extend around the entire perimeter of the cover. Another design that is becoming quite popular is to utilize both the solid and lattice covers together.
